Pre-Event Welding Workshop Taught by Joe Paczosa—Sold Out!

Welcome to the world of fire, steel and creativity! Take this workshop with seasoned professional sculptor and welder, Joseph Paczosa, to learn basic techniques of welding and create a small-scale project or group project. This hands-on class will teach participants how to cut, forge, and weld, as well as safety procedures. All equipment and materials will be supplied for this workshop. Students will have the option to complete a small project as a team or a sculpture for themselves. Joe is teaching this creative beginner welding workshop January 7-8.

About Joe Paczosa

Rooted in the San Juan Mountains of Southwestern CO, Telluride Forge draws upon the inspiration of this majestic natural environment creating unique hand forged artwork for the home, community and soul. Joe’s artistry can be seen in Town at the Alpine Chapel and Hotel Madeline.

What to wear: Closed toed shoes, jeans or Car Harts (Old clothes you don’t mind messing up). Wear eye protection, bring ear protection, a hat, and gloves.  Please do bring water and a sack lunch for the lunch break.
Creations will be on display at Telluride Fire Festival, January 20-22, 2017, if desired by the students.
